* All About TOYZ *
The History...
Growing up in a family of four boys, three of
them had strong interests in music. During
the hay days of rock-n-roll, one brother
tried so hard to be in a band, trying out for
different kind of instruments. He finally
settled as a bassist. Not long after, another
brother received a drum kit from a musically
inclined uncle as a gift and started banging
his way into a band. The youngest brother
surely can't ignore the fun and picked a
guitar, along with instructional cds and
books.
In the 90s moved from St.Louis, MO. to
Seattle, WA. Started a local band called
"Youngheart", played at local Lao functions.
By 2000, other Youngheart members had
different goals to pursued, like all good
things, it has to end sometimes.
In 2000, Noy Xayavong, a good friend, was
determined to learn how to play keyboard
and help form a new band called TOYZ as it
is known today. Soon after, Sayanh
Chansomphou, a Cali native, joined the
band as another guitarist.
